Freight and Rail Activities at KDOT: This presentation will outline KDOTs role in the Freight and Rail Industry. KDOT supports the industry through statewide planning efforts, funding programs, and is a liaison for several key initiatives. These initiatives include supporting our short line railroad industry, leading efforts for passenger rail expansion, and coordinating with over the road freight stakeholders and railroads operating within the state.
