The Economic Lifelines Membership Zoom Meeting has been changed to Thursday, February 15th at 3:00pm. 

Please join us as we hear from Adam Proffitt, Secretary, Kansas Department of Administration.  Secretary Proffitt also serves as the Director of the Budget.  

Adam will be providing an overview of the Governor’s Budget Recommendation for FY24 and FY25.  Given the historic surplus that the state has, coupled with the fiscal prudence that has been restored to the budgeting process, this presents an opportunity for the State to continue to invest in transformative change.  Some highlights of the Governor’s budget are meaningful and sustainable tax relief, Medicaid expansion, early debt retirement, education/workforce development, and investing in one-time expenditures, such as large capital projects.
